a couple of days ago, i went to united square because i was forced too. my mom bribed me by saying there are nice clothes there. it turns out, she didnt really remember the place. and she was really there to drop my sis off at "The Learning Lab". i hate that place. when i was pri 4 i was screaming my lungs out in the car because they were gonna send me there...

but they didnt. from then on, i got the impression that despite the fact that the exterior of the place was decorated with live rabbits and lava lamps, the teachers inside would rip your brains out and scrutinise every fault they see.

my mom invited my aunts and their lil kids along. as we walked to the food court, i passed this stage where people from secondary schools where participating in standing in a box and throwing a basket ball into the hoop. it was organised by.... high school musical on ice. they were playing we will rock you on rewind. ( "WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU *rewind* WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU") as if that wasn't enough, they were playing "bop to the top" in the bathroom. going to the toilet has never been so traumatising .

after lunch, my aunts and their kids sat down to eat minimelts. little coloured balls of ice cream. i recommend the rainbow one and the bubblegum one. really nice.

i found my mom watching the young folks playing "stand and throw ball" and she asked me "rachel, which ones are the girls ah? they all look like boys." and every time the girl teams scored she'll be like "yay" or "good one" or basically everything she will never say if she sees me playing sports.

so i went into clothes stores and came out looking like i ate something terrible. the only reason i went in was because they were having a 70% discount. but honestly, korean clothes aren't very appealing. i still want that dress from zara... hope it goes on discount soon.

then i decided to go on a john mayer cd album treasure hunt. it proved to be quite a difficult task. united square only has two cd stores. one doesn't even know who he is and another, in popular, has a very limited supply of good cds. i went to mall across united square and i found it! yaay.

and then i went home and fell asleep.
