so this post has been very over due. i have been very very busy (and lazy) to drag ,myself to post.... despite the fact that i'm at the computer most of the time.

so yesterday i went for CIP. i met sirin alonng the way to the place. and we reached there, we met cheryl! yay. then we met debra and her sister. and her sister's friends. and then debra's friends came. and lastly, esther came. so everyone came. then we were just sitting around shaking legs.

sirin lent me her jamie scott cd and realised that she was the only one wearing black. and she showed me her black shoes that she got for 2 euros. then we went to set up tables.

then after that was done, we sat there wondering if anyone would buy the (sorry little kids who made the paper mache) not so good looking paper mache.

so then blah blah blah and we earned 4 HUNDREEEED AND 34 DOLLLAHS. no including all those little coins at the bottom of the container. and joanna who was recording the items sold said that we earned more than we sold....

...

but who cares. it's the money tokens of kindness that were generously showered upon us that counts.

so then i went out with sirin to the heeren and after walking into HMV and buying THE POSTAL SERVICE'S ALBUM, we went to see the ear piercer person. she was nice. but as sirin said, she looked weird. so after walking around and contemplating, sirin got her ear pierced! and i felt sick. walking around with a sore throat and a headache is no small feat.

so after that we walked to this place and that then i went home.

today, poor me got up at what time? 7.30 IS THE MORNING. why? TO GO AND SMELL AMMONIA WHILE WAITING FOR COIN COLLECTING TINS AT THE SPCA. so i shared a tin with elissa cuz i didnt bring my ezlink card. so from SPCA, we travelled all the way to novena united square! NAY! i mean, yay!

and because i didnt bring my ezlink, i had to get the green card thingy so i was kinda embarrassed cuz i didn't know what to do with the machine ("does anyone of you know how to use this thing?"). and elissa-nimble-fingers (she can get a note into that mish-mash of metal WITHOUT it getting pushed out!) help me force a green card of out that thing.

elissa and i were patrolling this stretch of pavement in front of united square. the first few people were nice but then we met 'flat face' who just looked at us, then to the tin, then gave us a perfect view of his side profile. which was relatively flat. haha we got ignored a few times and i was clutching to the stickers like my life depended on it while elissa did all the talking.

so we walked around, met little kids, did some second hand smoking and a couple of 'u' turns in and out of the air-conditioned mall. hurrah.

did i also mention that ling hui and clarissa had planted themselves where the flow of the crowd was and practically left us dumbfounded when breaking the news that linghui had collected two ten dollar notes. so then we went to pizza hut for lunch and took photos and joked about stuff that i can't remember AND I ATE 1 PIECE + 1/2 PIECE + 1/6 PIECE = ??!!!! PIECES OF PIZZA (yes i know. it must come as a shock but i'm not the most talented person when it comes to maths fractions). AND MINIMELTS YEA. haha i was still hungry after the pizza, which by the way cost a bomb (damn inflation), and everyone was looking at me like i was mad.

so we went back after that and took the mrt again. we met fishman on the way back to SPCA and he was sleeping with his mouth opened like a fish. and i laughed at him. not intentionally really... it was really funny haha. his expression was hilarious.

then my mom and dad fetched me to go to addam's road to eat. my mom asked me what i wanted for dinner and when i said "mian", her mouth formed and "o" and she said

"you can speak chinese?"

i swear. i bet my cousin taught my mom that phrase. it's his catch phrase whenever in that rare instant i decide to speak chinese.

so i was dropped off nearby where i met debra. we went into the place and stoned. so when the guy came, we were briefed and i was made to unpick knots and tighten them while the guy asked debra to call people.

he also told me that i look serious. i wanted to yell at him. mostly cuz i was tired. did he expect me to smile and inquire about what i am to do with myself while he discussed issues with his friend? i wanted to stab him with paperclips. because they were within my reach.

i am now listening to bach's air in g-string ( DONT LAUGH!)
