okok touch wood. i spent the new year in a smurf t-shirt and a pair of shorts in front of the computer playing puzzlebee while have cramps. the count down was the same as any other. get famous people who can't sing to sing and get some other famous people to host. then you throw in whatever famous bands you can lay your hands on, drag them to singapore and force pay them to perform (like our athletes) and there. oh yes. and not forgetting the trade mark techno-ed version of that silly new year song.

voila. happy new year y'all. hoped your ears were too numb from the MC's shouting to notice that the live singing ain't that fab. and for those who witnessed this all on tv, and heard everything clearly, then... i wish you a speedy recovery.

but anyway i wouldn't know how bad they were cuz an hour before midnight i was showering. but i'm almost certain that they couldn't have been very good. it's just like our Ferris wheel. our big/huge/ginormous (and costly) Ferris wheel. great in form but when it comes to function, it doesn't really work!

yes. i'm being a grouch. blame it on the cramps i say! haha but it would've been funny if one of the mc's had one of her monthly episodes during the count down. can you imagine,

"TEN ...NINE ...EIGHT ...SEVEN... SIX... FIVE... FOUR... THREE... TWO... (wait one second) ONE! HAPPY- ARGH MENSTRUAL CRAMPS!"

i was talking to sirin about getting everyone to faint tomorrow during assembly. haha she suggests doing it kallang-wave style. i doubt anyone would have the guts to do it though haha.

anyway happy new year y'all. just a couple more months and then we can diss and bitch about the teachers out loud during prom. whoo!
